The use of bridal veils is not a new concept. They have literally been worn for centuries, but the style of the veils has changed quite a bit. There are so many to choose from, practically one for every taste.
If you are considering a veil for your wedding day attire, but want something a little different and unique, you may want to consider a birdcage veil. The birdcage veil became popular in the 30’s and 40’s, and is once again making a comeback. The birdcage veil is made from netting, usually diamond-shaped. These veils can vary in length from just covering the eyes, to covering the entire face. They are also available in several colors, although most brides do tend to go with the classic white or ivory.
